Qualifications Good Basic Education. Qualifications in Child or Social Care.
Experience Experience of working with Children/ Young People and Families. Direct work with Children in a residential setting or within a Local Authority.
Knowledge Good Basic Knowledge of Child Care Practice. General Working Knowledge of The Children Act 1989 and understanding of Child/ Human Development.
Skills Ability to communicate with children and young people.
Excellent interpersonal skills in order to communicate with colleagues.
Ability to work effectively in a team.
Report writing skills and ability to communicate in writing.
Plus Computer literacy
Personal qualities Trustworthy and respecting of confidentiality.
Flexible.
Emotionally Stable.
Good Health.
Willingness to undergo training.
Energetic and Enthusiastic. Holds a full clean driving licence.
