Director
Ross Barnett
Ross has been working in Social Care since 2001 joining Kent County Council to work with Looked After Children. He qualified as a Social Worker in 2003 and he has spent time working for KCC within Mental Health and front line Child Protection.
Ross has a degree in Psychology and has an interest in Child Development and Therapeutic Child Care. He also holds the Registered Manager's Award for Children and Young People.

Mrs. Doreen Scholfield
The Registered Provider for Channel and Choices is a retired residential manager of a local authority children’s home. Doreen Scholfield worked with young people in residential care for over thirteen years. She qualified as a social worker in 1994 and returned to the residential home as Head of Care after the completion of the DipSw. She has experience of working front line with children and families for the local authority as a duty social worker. She has also been a member of both the fostering and residential panels for East Kent.

Steve Davison
Qualifications: DipSW, Diploma in Therapeutic Child Care.
Steve is an experienced qualified social worker. Over the last 20 years Steve has gained experience working with children and young people in a number of different fields. This experience includes work within the residential sector for 7 years and also experience working for Education Welfare, the Youth Offending Teams (YOT) Adolescent resource team (ARC), Children and Families teams, and Child Protection teams for the Local Authority. In the Last 5 years Steve has worked as a manager in the private sector until he joined us in September 2007.
Manager Franc Larkin-Awe Awe
Qualifications: DipSW.GSCC Registered Currently completing the Registered managers Award.
Franc is an experienced Social Worker from New Zealand who worked for Child Youth and Family, and Maatua Whangai. Franc has also worked for an Indigenous Health Unit focusing on HIV/AIDS as an HIV AIDS Educator. Franc has years of experience working with Youth Justice, Child Protection, Restorative Justice, Family Group Conference work as a Statutory Social Worker. Franc was also a Team Leader in a Leaving Care and Asylum Team. Franc recently joined Channel & Choices having left his last position as a Senior Practitioner Social Worker for a Local Authority. He enjoys rugby, and has various sporting interests.
Quality Assurance Supervisor
Jenny Swann
Qualifications: NVQ3 in Child Care.
Jenny has worked with children for nearly twenty years. She has worked within a school setting and has spent five years working with the Dover Long Term Children and Families Team. Jenny joined Channels and Choices in 2007.
